Meet Mae. This sweetheart came to us from the streets of Mexico. Her body tells the story of a very rough 1st year. Although she is a young dog she is suffering from two kinds of tick borne illnesses, a badly injured back leg and scarred eyes. Our hopes are with top notch medical care – she will make a full recovery.
Mae is a gentle, one year old shepherd mix. She currently weighs 35 lbs but should be closer to 50. She is good with cats and dogs. She will be going in for surgery in the middle of May to have her leg repaired.
