Meet Lady Bird. This sensitive, 9 month old mastiff mix was surrendered to the shelter with a broken leg and bite wounds. When she first arrived she was scared and shy. But after some time in a loving foster home – her personality is blossoming. She is great with all dogs large and small.
Her leg has been repaired however – because the break appears to be at a growth plate – she may have some shortening in that rear leg. That does not slow her down at all and she gets around fine.
We are looking for a home for her with breed experience and another balanced dog to keep her company.
