Willard also goes by his hashtag – #willardthenicestdogintheword. Its not just a hashtag – its the truth. He came to us from a rural shelter were he was in a great deal of pain from two torn ACLs. That did not stop him from becoming a staff favorite and in fact – he was used as the shelter tester dog to gauge the temperaments of other dogs. He is a true breed ambassador and someone will be so lucky to take him home.
He is about 3 years old, 60 lbs, neutered and up to date on shots.
He had his first surgery to repair his torn ACL and the next one will be in May (we cover that expense). When he came home from surgery – despite his discomfort – he kissed his foster – as if to thank him. He’s truly a special soul.
He’s looking for a loving home so continue his recovery.
