Meet Savana.
We think she is a 3 year old Australian Kelpie/Cattle dog/ Shepherd mix.
This very good girl was spotted as stray for several weeks. She was friendly with the neighbors and the neighborhood dogs. Then one day she was injured and someone brought her to the shelter. She waited there for a week with a broken leg and finally – found her way to safety and to us. We got her the surgery she needed to repair her broken leg, got her spayed and chipped.
To say she’s an amazing dog would be an understatement. She is good with all dogs of all sizes, house trained and gentle. She does well in her crate (we do use a heavy duty crate for her). She seems to be so grateful for every meal and every scratch behind her ears. She truly deserves a home to call her own.
