Ajax is a 120lb, 16 month neutered male rottweiler who is a big dog with a gentle sensitive soul and loving disposition.
He melts to the ground when you give him affection. He is affectionate, enjoys long conversations with his vast verbal skills, plays with his squeaky toys for hours, loves ice cubes from the freezer, patters around the house with his big paws, likes watching TV (especially shows with animals), snores in bed, and wants to be your companion whether you are on a zoom call, watching TV, sitting outside or laying in bed…fancying himself a lap dog. He is a loving, big force of nature and when he runs, just step out of the way and you will be fine. Jax would do best in a house without other animals as he does not recognize his size and while he gets along with most animals, he does not get along with some. He is good with adults and children but due to his size, we would recommend a house with children over the age of 9 or 10 years old. He is still working on his leash skills but listens most of time to basic commands.
We are looking for the perfect home for this special dog. So if you don’t have large breed dog experience or are a first time dog owner this gorgeous boy is not the right match for you.
