Meet Lotti. Lotti is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet.. Lotti came to us in critical condition. Neighbors called animal control when they saw a skeletal dog walking around their neighbors property. The owners refused to let animal control in – which is when the police became involved. Thank goodness they came when they did – Lotti was found there, skin and bones and on the brink of death. Very sadly – another dog was found on the property who had already starved to death; we think it may have been Lotti’s sister.
Lott is about 8 years old and only 35 lbs. She should be closer to 55 or 60. Sh has had a full workup at out vet. We will run more tests once she has gained weight and will have a mammary tumor removed from her chest.
Lotti is in a loving foster home, getting 6-8 small meals a day. She loves laying in the sun and snuggling on the couch. She will be available for a forever home once she has been cleared by our vet.
