Meet Penelope. This unique looking dog was found as a puppy on the streets. The finders attempted to keep her but could not find housing that would accept her so they reached out to us. She is an active and playful dog who would do best in a home with another dog. She loves to play. She’s crate trained, 95% house trained and walks great on leash. She’s gentle with smaller dogs and would be fine with kids too.
Several Basenji owners have stopped us on walks and told us she looks like she is definitely mixed with that rare breed. She’s currently 40 lbs and will likely be around 55 at maturity.
She is now spayed, chipped and up to date on shots.
