Meet Warren (G.). He found himself at the overcrowded San Bernardino shelter after he had been hit by (or thrown from) a car). He suffered a broken pelvis and road rash. The shelter had informed us he needed out that day as he was on the euthanasia list (they did not have the staff to properly care for him).
We got him out that same day and -after a trip to our orthopedic specialist – we were happy to learn he did not need surgery! Just a few weeks of limited activity and he will be just fine. We have had him neutered and chipped and he has 1 round of puppy shots.
He is a 4 month old, Border terrier/Wire Haired Dachshund mix (our best guess). We think he will be between 16-25 lbs at maturity.
This little guy is a true gem. He gets along with all the dogs in his foster home and will make some family very lucky.
We require: application, home check, adoption fee and contract.
