Meet MJ. Shes is a gentle, 10 year old senior pitbull who waited 10 long months to be adopted from a busy shelter. Her happy day finally came right before Christmas and the staff at the shelter was overwhelmed with joy for her. Their happiness turned to horror the next day when she was returned to the shelter by her “adopters” after she had been mauled by the other dog in the house. She was covered in puncture wounds, had a broken ulna (bone in her front leg) and nearly lost her right ear.
She was rushed to an emergency vet where she had to stay overnight for round the clock care. Despite this tragedy and the pain she was in – she was loving and sweet to everyone she meet and gives lots of kisses and tail wags. She has won over the hearts at both hospitals she stayed at.
She is feeling much better and expected to make a full recovery. We are looking for a forever home for her where she will be spoiled rotten and loved. We want her to be treated like a princess in her forever home and are going to be extra picky about who gets to bring this beautiful girl home.
