Meet Anise. She and her siblings were rescued from a hoarding situation. The residents were being evicted and LLR had 12 hours to find a place for them to go our they were all shelter bound. Anise is a 2 month old shar pei mix. She has “puppy strangles” which is an autoimmune disease. It can be devastating if untreated but can be dealt with using a course of carefully monitored steroids. Luckily she found her way to us just in time. She should be healed and ready for a home by the middle to end of April.
She’s a sweet quiet girl who loves affection. As she starts to feel better she will become more active and playful. She has a unique, cream colored brindle coat and we can’t wait to see what she looks like when she is healthy.
Thank you for choosing to adopt and saving a life.
